Massive Hiatus: explained

Short version:
I had knee surgery and got married...in short order. Don't get me wrong, there was much more, but those were the highlights. If anyone has had major surgery and gone to that dark place that pools around you when you cannot escape real pain.
But that was then, and this is now.
The light wavelengths have finally begun to lengthen (this makes such a difference in my perception, it is truly amazing.
I have spring fever already. Last baseball season was so intriguing and there is so much talent on deck for 2013...the O's and Nats have contention-ready teams and have made some (fairly) wise choices over the off-season
I can't wait to see what I do...

  1. Congrats on both issues. I hope that the surgery was successful and that you and your wife share a long, happy marriage.

  2. I feel your pain and can relate on the knee surgery! It was a BIOTCH about 12 hrs after the surgery followed by a week of pain that I never knew. But it was worth it in the long run because I no longer hear my knee grinding in my head......so the voices tell me. ;-)
As for the Marriage....congrats to you both! Remember....never go to bed angry at one another, never forget to say, "your right dear and I was wrong", and never ever ever ever forget to put the toilet seat down. Grown men have died over that! LOL

  3. mahalo biggie. we happen to have an amazing and balanced relationship after 6yrs dating and 5living together. she is my warm fireplace, my touchstone and my muse. it is for her, i have largely stopped buying cards altogether [no major loss, as i want to save up for something that will bear my name. [child or gradschool diploma either way]. we have made best practices a priority around our house and we share a powerful vision of the change we want to be.
